Cricklade itself has a wealth of clubs, societies and community organisations serving both residents and visitors to the Town. Contact details are given below, broken down into a few broad groupings that should help you find what you are looking for.
Arts:
Welcomes artists of all ages and abilities. Monthly meetings held on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at Cricklade Town Hall Annexe at 7.30pm.

Cricklade and District Twinning Association

Cricklade & District Probus Club
Meet fortnightly on a Thursday at 10am at the White Hart Hotel in Cricklade. Contact Honorary Secretary, Richard Roberts on 01793 751063
A registered charity whose object is to advance the knowledge and history of Cricklade including the parishes of Latton, Down Ampney, Marston Meysey, Kempsford, Castle Eaton and Leigh.
Talks take place each month on the third Wednesday at the Town Hall Annexe. Doors open at 7.00 pm and talks start at 7.30pm. Visitors welcome, entry fee is £5 for non members of the society. Details of talks are displayed on the museum notice board and on the Town Council notice boards.
A café for people with memory difficulties and their carers/families. Takes place on the first Wednesday of the month in Cricklade Town Hall from 10.30am-12.30pm. Contact Vona Wagner: [email protected]
Group meets regularly at the Jenner Hall, Bath Road, 10am to 11.30am. It is a local charity which offers a safe and friendly place to meet for “Friendship, Fun and Support”. Contact Email: [email protected]

National Trust – Upper Thames & Ridgeway National Trust Association

Swindon & Cricklade Railway Society
Based at Blunsdon Station, working to rebuild the line between Cricklade and Mouldon Hill.
Aims to establish a continuous navigable waterway linking Kennett and Avon Canal at Melksham, River Thames at Abingdon and Thames Severn Canal at Cricklade.
Owns and manages Blakehill Farm Nature Reserve. Supporters group organises working parties and meetings.
